This 4-day course covers systems operations on Google Cloud Platform. Through a series of lectures and hands-on labs, you learn how to:

Configure public cloud infrastructure and networking

Deploy and manage applications and application environments

This class is intended for experienced system administrators and development operations professionals responsible for:

Implementing public cloud infrastructure and application environments

Deploying or migrating applications to the public cloud

Infrastructure configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and scalability

Lenght of the course: 4 days (32 hours)

Language: Available in Spanish and English

Three vouchers for the GCS, CSQL, GCE exams included.

Requirements

Completed CP100A: Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals

Basic proficiency with command-line tools and linux operating system environments

Prior systems operations experience, either on-premises or using a public cloud

Attendees should bring their own laptops (Mac OS, Windows or Linux) with enough permissions to install additional software.

Credit card is required to sign up for the free trial, although your credit card will not be billed.

Create an image using a boot persistent disk

Create a Cloud SQL instance using the Cloud SDK

Deploy and test a web application

Add instance and project metadata

Query instance and project metadata using the Cloud SDK

Create an instance using a startup script in metadata and Google Cloud Storage

Use the API Explorer to query an API request

Run sample code that uses the Google API Client Library
